Windows 2000 Internet Connection Wizard

The following help section is to be used with Windows 2000 Internet Wizard.

2. Next select the Option "I connect through a phone line and a modem" then click Next

3. Firstly untick the box marked "Use area code and dialing rules"

4. Next enter the froggy.net.au dial-up phone number 02 8383 0083

6. Make sure the window on your machine matches the one above.

7. Click the Address tab at the top of the screen.

8. This window should also look the same on your machine.Make sure that your matches the settings in this diagram.

9. Click OK

10. Click Next

11. Enter your froggy.net.au username and froggy.net.au password in the areas provided.

Note: do not use any capitals or spaces unless you purposly put them in your password.

12. Click Next

13. Next enter the name for the connection. To make things easier, please enter froggy.net.au and the name of the city through which you connect.

14. Click Next

15. If you wish to configure your email now select Yes if not select No and go to step 26

16. Click Next

17. Enter the name through which you would like mail sent (your full name)

18. Click Next

19. Enter your froggy.net.au email address in the space provided.

Note: Do not use any capitals in your email address

21. Enter your Incoming mail server name in the area provided.

22. Enter your Outgoing mail server name in the area provided.

Note: The Incoming and Outgoing mail server names for your area are available

23. Click Next

24. Enter your froggy.net.au username and password in the spaces provided.

25. Click Next

Note: froggy.net.au recommends that you disable the option "Remember password" as it may give hackers access to your password.

26. The setup is now complete click Finish to begin use.
